I was analyzing one Quora question :
Why Assembly , C and C++ programming languages necessary for Embedded system ?
I could feel some discussion happening within my laptop. Let me share this for 12th standard Computer Science students and you may also help me passing the same.
Preprocessor
Hey guys, If you plan to use C program , Make sure you put proper header files and macros. Compiler sir doesn’t like any syntax error.
Compiler
Prep, you are creating my bad reputation. In reality, I help programmers to fix errors in advance and for minor issues I just give warning as well. Sometime they just define a variable but don’t use it. I have responsibility to convert their code which Assembler sir can understand.
Assembler
Compiler is right. He is very intelligent and helpful too. Even after knowledge of both C and architecture , he is very humble. I also don’t want to generate any code which waste time of CPU Madam.
Linker
Assembler dear, Your concern is valid but don’t worry , I will take care of any redundant code. If these guys(programmers) don’t provide proper library or definition or provide duplicate definitions, I will make sure the final file is not prepared and provide them proper error. They will be not able to put their case for execution by CPU madam.
CPU
Lol ! Why there is too much discussion of programming languages ? Whatever you write , it is to be done with the help of my team of ALU , FPU etc along with registers. Still I prefer an optimized code because some time I get tired of fetching instructions . If I try to do it in a faster way, I feel lot of heat and need proper cooling arrangement.
Please note terminology Sir & Madam is just used to make conversation interesting. There is lot of interesting material in embedded science but it takes time to reach that level.
